Santa Clarita Theatre Center is an organization that is dedicated to anyone committed to going beyond mere compliance to build a truly aware and inclusive work/play culture. We are a collaborative theatre project dedicated to developing a shared multi-venue theatre complex. Our aim is to support and provide ongoing opportunities for the diverse artistic voices in our community through a variety of storytelling mediums. Inclusion is how we unleash the power of diversity, which is why the SCTC is committed to showcasing previously silenced voices. Diversity begins at the start of this organization to build trust with the community, ensuring all cultural identities are included, and we intend to keep those values at the core of what the SCTC stands for. We strive to foster belonging and connection, not just despite our differences, but strengthened by them. As live theatre makers, we understand that it is through the experience of listening to and learning from each other’s stories that we come to better understand our journeys.
